Membership | Scrap Dragon

You need to be a member to access ScrapDragon's resources. It takes just a few minutes to join, you can sign up when you visit.

From February 1st - July 31st 2024, we are charging £1 per person membership.

There are 2 types of membership:

Individual (Yellow)

(This includes crafters and hobbyists, students, families and home educators)

Group (Green)

(Includes people shopping for schools, adventure playgrounds, clubs, church groups, charities, scouts/guides etc., private nurseries etc..)

All users of ScrapDragon must be a member, membership is £1 per person, either as an individual or as a representative of a group.

A copy of our membership terms & conditions are issued upon signing up, and are always available on request.

ScrapDragon Membership Terms & Conditions 2024

Children are welcome in the scrapstore but must be accompanied and supervised at all times by a responsible adult (minimum 18 years of age). No more than 2 children per adult.

All prices displayed for scrap materials are a suggested donation. We hope you will be happy to pay this as it enables us to cover our running costs

The scrap materials you will find at ScrapDragon have been donated for play and creative activities that was not necessarily their original purpose. All reasonable steps are taken to ensure that materials are suitable, however no guarantee is offered that scrap is clean or safe. NONE OF THE ITEMS WE SELL ARE SAFE FOR USE WITH FOOD.

In taking scrap materials you agree that it is your responsibility to ensure that they are safe for your intended use

Scrap Dragon will not be liable for damage, loss or injury which might arise from using any material supplied, however it is used.

The companies that donate scrap to us do so on the understanding that you take the materials for community or family use. Scrap materials from ScrapDragon cannot be resold at car boot/jumble sales, online auction sites or elsewhere. Our supplies may be withdrawn if any company discovers their products have been disposed of in this way. This has unfortunatly happened to us in the past, and we now very carefully check online sites for resale of scrap. You CAN make things with the materials from ScrapDragon and sell your creations - either as a crafter or as a group etc.

To be fair to everyone that uses ScrapDragon please take only the quantity of materials that you will use

When the materials you obtain from ScrapDragon are no longer useful for play or creative purposes please recycle as much as possible and dispose of it responsibly

Scrap Dragon reserves the right to withdraw the membership of any individual or organisation at its discretion, for any reason we see fit.
